OPERATIONAL REVIEW

The following explains the roadmap for each period:

  1. 2021-2022: Business Alignment and Integration
  2. After the merger of Pelindo I, Pelindo II, Pelindo III, and Pelindo IV to become PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) in 2021, 2021 to 2022 will be a phase of business alignment and integration which will focus on:

    1. Post-integration business alignment through standardization and operational and commercial integration to improve service quality;
    2. Integrated investments for business development; and
    3. Company reorganization and integrated culture development.
  3. 2023-2024: Business Expansion and Partnership
  4. In 2023-2024, after the alignment and integration runs smoothly, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) will begin to focus on expanding and establishing business partnerships that will focus on:

    1. Improved business development through Strategic Partnerships (i.e. INA);
    2. Collaboration with domestic & global shipping for increased sea connectivity; and
    3. Development of connectivity and logistics ecosystem through collaboration with land logistics industry players.
  5. 2025: World-Class Port Ecosystem Integrator
  6. After expanding and collaborating for its business development, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) will focus on becoming a World Class Port Ecosystem Integrator through:

    1. Preparing regional and international expansion plans for PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero);
    2. Increasing the use of digital technology in the port business & supporting businesses; and
    3. Strengthening connectivity support and logistics ecosystem through cooperation with industrial estates to increase goods traffic.

As all milestones in each roadmap have been planned as the “steps” to achieve World-Class Port Ecosystem Integrator, it is important for the Company to ensure and utilize all available resources to carry out all strategic pillars along with key enablers so the Company’s milestones and goals can be achieved.

STRATEGIC PROJECTS 2021

Strategic project developments in 2021 included the construction of the Kijing Terminal in West Kalimantan, the construction of the Kalibaru Container Terminal in Tanjung Priok, the construction of the Kalibaru Eastern Access Road (New Priok Eastern Access), the construction of the Teluk Lamong Terminal, the construction of the Bali Maritime Tourism Hub (BMTH), and Makassar New Port Development.
