INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY

Pelindo’s Information Technology Strategy regulates the division of authority, roles and functions of ICT at each level, as well as the management of investments, resources, risks and projects. Head Office ICT, which acts as advisor for Regional/Branch and Terminal ICT and supervisor for ICT Subholding, has the task and authority to compile corporate ICT policies, such as compiling Information Technology (IT) Governance, IT Master Plan, and others. In addition, Head Office ICT is obliged to implement and monitor the implementation of IT Roadmap.

Pelindo Group ICT also collaborates with its Subsidiary, PT ILCS, as an IT Solution Provider in innovating, developing systems and providing system solutions needed by the Company. This aims to support the company’s plan to standardize the system for all Pelindo.

Post-merger, the development of the company’s information system is focused on adjusting the existing system in each region to meet the minimum requirements so that business processes can run smoothly as usual. Developments and adjustments are made to the application system that will be used for both the holding and regional entities. The development carried out includes adjustments to the financial and HC Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, customer data reconciliation, accessibility between data centers, and branding adjustments to various systems such as customer portal, intranet system, core business port system (billing), corporate website, procurement portal, and other related systems.

The post-merger 100 days program related to IT development includes the following:

  1. Development of ICT policies and governance;
  2. Consolidation of ICT asset data and work programs;
  3. Harmonization of IT Master Plan;
  4. Preparation and design of single ERP for all regions and subholdings;
  5. Preparation and design of intranet applications and employee archives;
  6. Preparation and design of centralized procurement;
  7. Preparation and standardization of operational master data as the baseline for the entire system;
  8. Design an executive summary dashboard; and
  9. Implementation of TOS in region 1.
