When formulating the Company’s strategies and strategic policies, the Board of Directors has guided by the strategies implemented in post-merger meetings as outlined in the LongTerm 2021-2025 Strategic Roadmap. The Board of Directors ensures the strategies implementation by evaluating the effectiveness of the strategies through regular evaluation reports. The strategy monitoring by the Board of Directors has succeeded in meeting the Company’s performance targets.

Strategies in each business entity prior to the merger followed by the post-merger strategy have resulted in the Company achieving the set targets. These achievements can be seen in the fulfillment of operational performance targets in 2021.

Ship traffic in GT units exceeded the target by 100.01%. Container traffic in box units in 2021 exceeded the target by 106.85%, as well as by 107.10% for teus units. Non-container goods traffic in tons in 2021 exceeded the target by 106.85%, with non-container goods traffic in units exceeding the target by 168.55%.

In 2021, the Company recorded a good operational performance. In terms of port operations, ship traffic in 2021 reached 254,669 units, an increase of 10.76% compared to 229,932 units in 2020, and ship traffic in GT units in 2021 reached 1,186,217,247 GT, an increase of 13.78% compared to 1,042,573,078 GT in 2020. Container traffic in box units in 2021 reached 13,234,256 boxes, an increase of 18.95% compared to 11,125,677 boxes in 2020. Container traffic in TEUs increased by 21.55%, from 14,032,351 TEUs in 2020 to 17,056,636 TEUs in 2021. Non-container goods traffic in tons in 2021 reached 146,200,809, an increase of 13.16% compared to 129,198,339 tons in 2020.

Passenger traffic in 2021 reached 8,056,905 people, an increase of 11.27% compared to 7,240,547 people the previous year. In addition, for other services, property operations for land leasing in 2021 reached 33,742,879 M2, an increase of 82.06% compared to 18,534,151 M2 in 2020.
