CULTURE INTERNALIZATION
- Holding a webinar on Key Success Factors in Running Change Management Toward Pelindo - Bersatu Part III - on July 21, 2021 for the Merger Working Group Team; and
- Holding a Change Agent workshop for 779 Participants from the four pre-merger companies, divided into 15 batches, and held from August 23 – September 15, 2021.
After the merger on October 1, 2021, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) continued the cultural internalization process with several adjustments, including:
- Consolidating an inventory of matters to be carried out by each Company prior to the merger;
- Conducting a Post Merger work readiness survey on October 15, 2021, involving all employees at the Head Office, Subholding and Regional Offices. The survey purpose was to map the real conditions experienced by employees during the postmerger transition period to improve work smoothness and coordination after the Integration of Pelabuhan Indonesia. The respective head offices, subholding and regional management directly carried out a survey results follow-up;
- Holding a Town Hall Meeting on October 6, 2021 with the agenda of officially introducing the Board of Directors of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) to the Company employees after the merger. At this Town Hall Meeting, the Board of Directors also provided guidance and an explanation on the post-merger corporate plan; and
- Holding regular Sharing sessions through the BERLABUH (Talk with Pelabuhan Indonesia) program three times a month, presented by BOD & BOD-1 resource persons at the Head Office, Regional and Subholding. The topics discussed at BERLABUH included an update on the current condition in the resource person’s work unit related to one of the AKHLAK values. The purpose of this activity was to increase a sharing culture in the Company, as well as a medium for updating, creativity, and actualization in the work units in line with the core values of AKHLAK.
Measuring the level of understanding and application of the corporate culture internalization process was carried out in December 2021 with 1,074 respondents, consisting of 278 Head Office Employees, 501 Subholding Employees and 295 Regional Employees. Through these surveys, the 2021 Corporate Culture Implementation Index result was 4.56. Through these surveys, the results showed that the Amanah Value had the highest value as the value most believed in and implemented in daily work. The Adaptive and Collaborative Values were the values considered to be the most important in the Corporate Culture internalization to help employees understand the importance of cultural transformation for the organization’s continuity.
