INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS

To provide an umbrella for all employees, Pelindo has established a Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) containing all provisions related to employment. Industrial relations are carried out by the Board of Directors and Management of the Company, which led to a renewal of the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) between the Company and the Trade Union.

In an effort to move the Company forward, Management has established harmonious industrial relations with the trade unions to create a conducive working atmosphere and maintain the Company’s continuity. Management views the trade unions as strategic partners, so the policies, especially for HC welfare issues, must obtain input from the union.

In connection with the merger of Pelindo I, II, III, and IV into Pelindo, the Company will establish a new forum or bipartite forum with the trade unions to accommodate and resolve labor problems that arise, as well as those that have the potential to become problems, and act as a forum for providing advice to Management in making decisions in the field of employment. This forum will make it easier for employees to convey their aspirations to the Company in stages so that a two-way communication between the Company and employees can be maintained. The Bipartite Forum was formed after going through the following stages:

  1. Verification of Trade Union Membership (currently the verification results have not been submitted by each union);
  2. Prepared Minutes of the Establishment of Bipartite LKS;
  3. Prepared a timeline and work program for the Bipartite LKS activities; and
  4. Implemented the Bipartite LKS.
